有些小伙伴虽然养了猫，但对猫爪的威力都心有余悸，还没有尝试，就想象着给猫剪指甲是一件好难的事情，都会等到带猫咪去洗澡或者看医生时，让专业人士来帮忙剪指甲，其实只要选对工具，学会方法，自己在家就可以搞定了。

为什么要给猫剪指甲？

生活在野外的猫咪当然是没有人帮它们修剪指甲的，但聪明的猫咪会通过摩擦各种物品来自己修剪指甲，去掉脱落的指甲外壳，将新长出的指甲打磨的更加锋利，方便捕猎和自卫。

显然，生活在家庭中的宠物猫们，并不需要那么锋利的爪子去捕捉猎物，反倒会挠坏东西甚至伤人，所以要定期修剪。

帮猫咪修剪指甲主要有以下目的：

1、防止猫咪挠爪子时挠坏家具或者墙壁，避免指甲折断伤害到猫咪的爪垫。

2、避免猫咪抓伤家人，尤其是家里的小朋友，即便猫咪跟家人关系很好，偶尔还是会意外抓伤的。

3、防止指甲过于尖利，嵌入猫爪爪的肉垫里，猫咪会感动疼痛不适，影响行动能力。

4、多猫家庭，还可以预防猫咪打闹时，指甲太过锋利会伤害彼此。

给猫咪剪指甲的正确方法（如图）

1、抱住猫咪，让猫咪坐在自己的膝盖上，从后面环抱着猫咪起到固定作用。

2、握着猫咪的爪爪，压下掌心的肉垫垫，平时收起来的指甲就露出来了。

3、将指甲前端的2~3毫米透明部分用指甲刀修剪掉即可，一定不要剪刀血管哦。

适合新手的猫咪指甲剪

对于新手来说，能固定住猫咪并成功剪下指甲就是胜利了，但可能很难掌握下手的尺度，非常容易剪得太多，导致猫咪出血，所以带Led灯的指甲剪就非常适合新手使用了，灯光下猫咪的血管看的一清二楚，把指甲放进圆孔里，剪一下就可以了，我今天上午试用了一下，很好用。

大多数的猫对剪指甲等各种护理都是会抗拒的，如果你能够比较数量的操作，但猫咪不太配合的，可以选择这款稍微大一些，把手防滑的指甲剪，这样可以拿的牢固一些，避免猫咪挣扎时受伤。

给猫剪指甲的注意事项：

1、猫咪的指甲生长速度和自身新陈代谢快慢有关，一般一到两周就该修剪一下了。

2、让猫咪从小习惯剪指甲，习惯成自然，剪起来就得心应手了。

3、尽量选择猫咪心情好的时候，如果猫咪很抗拒，不要强行修剪指甲，很容易伤害彼此哦。

4、修剪完指甲，记得给猫咪一些小零食作为奖励，形成条件反射，它们也会更加配合的。
