(The trampled serpent and Zeus)

A snake was often trampled by people, so it ran to complain to Zeus. Zeus said to him, “If you bite the first person who tramples on you, there will be no second one who dares to do so.”

Moral: Resist the first aggressor, and the other invaders will be daunted and afraid to attack.

(Little boy with scorpion)

There was a child who caught grasshoppers in front of the city wall, and in a moment he caught many. Suddenly he saw a scorpion, and he thought it was also a grasshopper, so he used his hands to catch it. The scorpion held up its stinger and said, “Come on, if you dare to do this, even the grasshoppers you caught will be lost.” ”

Moral: Tell people to distinguish between good people and bad people, and treat them differently.
